This site belongs to Roof Supply Guy (“we”), an independent manufacturers’ representative based in Florida, USA. This page describes exactly what the site collects and what happens to it — no boilerplate.
What we collect
The contact and quote forms collect what you type: your name, email address, and message, plus — if you provide them — phone number, company, region/state, and for quote requests the supplier, product, SKU, and quantity you’re asking about. That’s the entire list; the site has no accounts, no e-commerce, and no pricing data.
Questions you ask the RSG Assistant are processed to generate an answer, as described under Processors below.
How we use it
Form submissions are used for one thing: responding to your inquiry. They are emailed to our reps, and you receive a short acknowledgment. We don’t add you to marketing lists, and form contents never reach our analytics.
Processors
- Resend delivers the form emails (your submission passes through their infrastructure as email content).
- Anthropic processes RSG Assistant conversations via the Claude API. Conversations are not stored by us beyond short-term operational logs.
- Plausible provides cookieless, aggregate analytics (page counts — no personal identifiers, no cross-site tracking).
Retention
As a delivery backup, each form submission is kept in a private log for 30 days, then discarded. The log stores a one-way hashed network identifier — never your raw IP address.
Cookies & analytics
We don’t set cookies — which is why there’s no cookie banner. Analytics are cookieless and aggregate. Your theme preference (light/dark), if you set one, is kept in your own browser’s local storage and never sent to us.
No sale of data
We do not sell, rent, or share your information for advertising — full stop.
